Best Homemade “Helpers” To Get Rid Of Bad Breath

Bad breath is major problem for everyone, but especially for those who work in public relations, because they have to talk with lots of people and it can be embarrassing to have a smelly breath. Sometimes, for the most sensitive people, it causes low self-esteem, and this thing may cost a lot. So, you have to follow some advice if you want to get rid of this embarrassing problem.

Brush your teeth
Even if this advice is well known by everybody, many of us avoid it! We should brush our teeth after every meal, but we don’t. Let’s be honest we ourselves. Keep a toothbrush in your purse and you can brush your teeth even at the office. Another important step is to wash your tongue, too. Because it works like a sponge for bacteria, and brushing it it will get your rid of halitosis.

Pomegranate
There are two ways to use this trick for bad breath. The first method is to unpeel the pomegranate and leave the peel to dry in the sunlight. After the peel is dried, put it in hot water and leave it until the water cools. Gargle with the water in the morning and evening. This remedy can be used both for bad breath and in case of mouth ulcers.

The second method that you can use the pomegranate is to unpeel it, and leave the peel to dry in the shade. With the help of a blender, turn the dry peel into powder. Then use 3 grams from this powder by mixing with a glass of water. Drink this mixture in the morning and in the evening, or use it to gargle. Pomegranates are among the best natural remedies against bad breath.

Mustard oil and salt
Mix 2 teaspoons of mustard oil and salt then put this mixture in your mouth and rinse.
Try to keep this mixture in the mouth for half an hour, and spit the saliva whenever is needed. This mixture will immediately get rid of bad breath.

Lemon juice, ginger and water
In a glass of warm water add a teaspoon of lemon juice and ginger. Gargle with this mixture at least twice a day, morning and evening.

Mint
Whether your chewing gum or mint leaves, this plant can do wonders for your breath.

Baking soda
Add 2 teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water and gargle with it. You can gargle 2 or 3 times a day, depending on the severity of halitosis.

Parsley
Whether you chew raw parsley or you gargle with juice, parsley is the best remedy for bad breath. Put a pot of water to boil (for 10 minutes) then add a few parsley strands. Once you removed it from the heat, add a few cloves and leave them until it cools. Use this mixture as a mouthwash every day or gargle.

Chamomile has anti-inflammatory properties, decongestant, antihistamine and healing;

Sage has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects;
