How To Banish Back Acne With Natural Remedies

My son is facing with this problem for several years already. I took him to dermatologists, thinking that he has an infection. But no! The analyses were perfect! And the medical indications were the use of several creams, with no effect! Or antibiotics! No way, I said! And I started to prepare him different natural remedies and combining them. I can’t say that these remedies work just like a miracle and the acne disappeared like magic, but I can say that it’s diminished considerably and the healing process started. He remained with the scars, but self-confidence it’s back again, which makes me a happy mom!

Below I’ll share with you some natural remedies that helped my kid to reduce back acne.

1. Oatmeal exfoliation

Prepare at home a mixture with two tablespoons of oatmeal with water to exfoliate thoroughly the affected areas. Oat is an excellent scrub that removes dead cells and impurities, relieving back acne. This remedy helped a lot.

2. Tea tree oil

It’s a natural tonic and a great cleaning agent which reaches clogged pores and removes bacteria and impurities. Using this essential oil you’ll reduce considerably back acne. With the use of a cotton swab, apply tea tree oil on the affected area and let it act for 15 minutes, then wash.

3. Apple cider vinegar

It’s another natural skin cleaner. It can be used by rubbing the area gently. Apple cider vinegar kills bacteria and removes toxins from the pores and by reducing inflammation.

4. Epsom salt

Epsom salt is obtained by the evaporation process of mineral water or seawater. The name comes from a mineral water spring in the town of Epsom, Surrey. Magnesium sulfate is used in various situations, such as relieving stress, pain and to smooth skin.
Epsom salt is also known as magnesium sulfate making it another natural ingredient that reduces acne on the back, by removing pore’s impurities and toxins. In addition, it has the ability to reduce inflammation and redness. Mix a tablespoon of Epsom salt in a glass of water and clean the back with a cotton pad.

5. Baking soda mask

Another excellent way to get rid of back acne, and this remedy works really good is a mask made from baking soda and water. Mix baking soda with water until you get a smooth paste then apply the paste on the back. Let it act for 15 minutes then rinse with lukewarm water. Baking soda is a natural antiseptic which fights against infection that causes acne.

6. Maintain proper hygiene

Wear clothes only once then wash them with a gentle detergent, made from natural ingredients without harmful substances. Take a shower at least twice a day using an antibacterial soap or shower gel.

7. Eat healthy

A balanced diet rich in healthy foods (fruits, vegetables, fiber, healthy carbohydrates) and low in harmful foods (sweets, pastries, saturated fat), can stop the appearance of acne. Certain foods, such as dairy products, fried foods and chocolate should be avoided. Personally, I take a good care of what my family eats!
