After reading these beauty tips I must agree with them. They are all natural, there are no side effects and very cheap! I will print and stick them on the mirror to take a good care of my complexion and not only. Because, some of them are my grandma’s beauty tricks. And trust me, she’s still gorgeous after all these years.
You don’t need expensive moisturizers or complicated treatments to get rid of dark circles, pimples, dry skin and many other skin problems.
Try these natural remedies easy to use and very effective.
1. A saline solution will reduce skin inflammation
Dissolve salt in water to obtain a concentrated saline solution. Soak a towel in the solution and apply it on your face. Leave on for ten minutes then remove it. You’ll see how this saline solution will reduce inflammation.
2. Hydrated lips
It’s very easy to offer your lips a velvety look with a Botox effect. Apply on your lips a. oil which is used in cosmetics, such as olive oil, coconut oil or intense moisturizing lip balm. Leave it to act for a few minutes then massage your lips with a soft-bristled toothbrush. Dead skin cells will be removed, your lips will be softer and the volume will be increased due to blood flow stimulation.
3. Olive oil for shiny skin
Your skin will be more hydrated with a healthy look if you use olive oil to massage it gently. Apply on your clean and peeled skin a few drops of extra virgin olive oil, then massage gently for a few minutes. Repeat this procedure several times a week, especially in the evening, before bedtime.
4. Honey against acne
Because honey has antibacterial properties, honey is an effective treatment against acne. If an annoying pimple just pop up on your forehead, before an important event, apply some honey on your pimple and leave it to act for 15 minutes, then remove with warm water. This method helps to reduce the size of pimples, making them less visible and easy to hide under foundation.
5. Use eye drops for pimples
Soak a cotton pad in a solution for treating bloodshot eyes. Put the cotton pad in the freezer for 5 minutes then dab the pimple area with it for a few seconds. This way will decrease inflammation significantly.
6. Natural makeup removal
Mix three parts of water with one part of olive oil in a jar. Shake well, apply on a cotton pad then remove makeup. This is a simple recipe to dissolve even the most long lasting makeup.
7. Get rid of ingrown hairs
Baking soda is an efficient solution to remove ingrown hair. Mix one teaspoon of baking soda, one teaspoon grounded oatmeal and a tablespoon of water. Mix well until you get a thick paste. Apply the paste on your skin, rub gently then rinse it with lukewarm water.
8. Get rid of dark circles and bags under the eyes
Add a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass with warm water and mix well. Soak a cotton pad in the solution and apply it on the dark circles and puffy eyes area. Leave it to act for 10 minutes, then remove it and apply a moisturizer. Repeat this procedure every evening.
9. Mask for shiny hair
Mix well a crushed banana, an egg, a spoonful of honey and half a glass of dark beer. After you have obtained a smooth paste, apply the mask on your hair from roots to ends and leave it on for several hours. Use this mask once a week and you’ll notice how your hair will become much brighter.
10. Eyelash growth solution
Eyelashes also need a special care to be longer and more thatched. Mix half a teaspoon of coconut oil with two drops of lavender essential oil. Apply the mixture on your eyelashes, from roots to ends, using a cosmetic stick. Your eyelashes will be healthier, will grow quicker and will be more thatched.
