A stye is actually an infection of the sebaceous glands of your eyelashes.
Although in most cases the infection isn’t serious and disappears quickly with some antibiotic, there are also tricks and natural remedies to get rid of a stye.
Boil 1 liter of water with 2 teaspoons of salt. Leave the water to cool a little bit and soak a clean towel or a cotton pad in the salty water. Dab well the area and soak always in hot water so as to keep salt compress for about 20 minutes at a high temperature. Use this remedy in the morning and in the evening and that is that! You’ll get rid of this annoying stye.
Heat a cup of fatty milk and fatty and dab slowly your stye with a sterile compress, using the milk as hot as possible.
Apply until the milk gets cold then rinse gently with warm water.
Be careful not to put hot milk in the eye and not to have dirty hands, because you can wake up with big eye infection.
You can use essential garlic oil or even crushed garlic cloves. Apply over the entire infected area in the evening and in the morning and you’ll see that garlic really is magic and you’ll see its antibacterial and antiseptic properties.
Apply garlic paste on your eyelid or under the eye area, depending where the stye appears.
Allow to dry for about 5 hours and rinse with lukewarm water. The infection will disappear and you eye will look like new the next day!
