This is quite an unpleasant and inconvenient problem, but fortunately it doesn’t take long and you can get rid of diarrhea quick and easy. Only if it’s not chronic diarrhea! So, there are a few natural remedies to get rid of acute diarrhea.
When diarrhea occurs, your body loses fluids and electrolytes, so you need to get rehydrated. So, you have to drink plenty of fluids, without sugar. The best of all is mint tea, because it’s a natural treatment for diarrhea. Drink it without sugar and avoid drinking coffee a few days until you get better. You just have to infuse in hot water a tablespoon of mint leaves and drink a cup, three times a day.
Starch helps a lot when you have diarrhea and potatoes contain plenty of starch. However, you have to eat boiled potatoes not fried. So, you can prepare a portion of mashed potatoes (without milk or butter) and here’s your meal. This will alleviate your symptoms. Also don’t add salt to your potatoes because salt aggravates the problem as sugar.
When you have diarrhea, you can treat the problem with coffee beans. Chew a spoonful of coffee beans, every time after you’ve been to the toilet, to treat the problem.
Kefir is rich in probiotics, which helps to restore the natural flora of the intestines. This is good especially when diarrhea is caused by an excessive increase number of bacteria.
This is not such a great food, because it has no taste, but simple boiled rice without salt can get you rid of diarrhea. You can add a few slices of boiled carrots for a bit of flavor and nutrients.
