Onion is one of the vegetables frequently used in the kitchen for cooking. But we shouldn’t treat onion just like a tasty ingredient because this vegetable is great to be used as a remedy for many diseases. Onion, green, red or white has a lot of beneficial properties for our body.
You should know that onion has no restriction and can be consumed by anybody, at any age. Beside the unpleasant smell, onions don’t restrictions and can be consumed during main meals or different onion diets. You can keep an onion diet for life because it has many benefits for your body.
For ulcers you need:
-one medium onion
-200 ml of water
-1 teaspoon of honey
-200 ml of white wine
Chop the onion finely and mix it with water. Then add 1 teaspoon of honey and a few leaves of rosemary. Leave the mixture to boil for 15 minutes. Add the wine and mix well with a spoon, and leave it to boil for another 15 minutes. Take the remedy of the stove, strain the liquid into a glass. Boiled onion is eaten in the evening, and in the morning, drink the liquid on an empty stomach.
Also, boiled onion is great in treating UTI, because of its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties.
